How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
This was our second stay here. Great location to visit Shrewsbury and we got a visit to the theatre which is 2 minutes away. It’s only a short walking distance into town over the bridge. Easy check‑in and earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend. Be mindful if you plan to stay; it’s an old building with narrow stairs which the letters remind you of on booking. Later check‑in means you’ve got your bag most of the day if traveling in early with no car.

The property boasts a beautiful Tudor street frontage, the room had everything needed, and the décor is thoughtfully arranged throughout. The price is good, and having a kitchen and washing machine is nice for a short stay. The entry pad is fun. The only notes are that the bathroom in my room is shared and parking is a short walk to a huge car park, but there were no real issues.

The place sits just a stone's throw from the town centre, but the high street keeps you awake at night with its noise.

The hotel has a charming, surprisingly quaint feel with plenty of space and a comfy bed; they offer welcome tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and fudge, and the location is very central. Checking in was a breeze thanks to key codes, though I had to park in the car park, which was free from Saturday evening to Monday morning.

The location worked out perfectly for us and the accommodation was solid. Unfortunately, the towels had a stale smell when we arrived, the bedroom door was low—there even was a sign about it—and I bumped my head on it more than once.
