“Ein Resort für Ruhesuchende.”
The lakeside location was lovely, though a bit out of the way. Unfortunately there was no pool, and breakfast was average. We had overlooked that the resort didn’t have a pool when we booked.

Everything was tidy and brand‑new, the staff were helpful and even whipped up some sandwiches for us on arrival, yet breakfast was a bit chaotic—despite giving a time, they only set the table and served the food about thirty minutes later, and the Sri Lankan dish we requested never showed up; aside from that, I’d still recommend the place.

The hosts were super friendly and generous, the location was great, and the food was good.

The people were incredibly gentle and helped us with everything from safaris to taxis, the food was delicious at breakfast, lunch and dinner, the room was truly fantastic—very spacious with a huge bathroom that even had a bathtub—and we regretted only staying one night.

The hotel room sat on the upper floor, featuring two very spacious bedrooms and a lovely view of the lake. The host was very friendly and sociable. However, besides the booking price, you had to pay a service fee, VAT, and a few percent in credit card fees. The hotel is somewhat remote, so you’ll need transportation.
