“It was fine for what we needed for one night but not a resort style experience if you are looking for that. I would say”

Being just a short walk from the beach and very close to the airport, the location is great, though the roads get busy and you need to stay alert if you walk. A few restaurants are nearby, but having a car would make moving around easier. Our room was simple, yet very comfortable and spotless, with AC and a lovely balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The price felt high for what you get, but that seems to be the norm in the Bahamas. I stayed only one night before heading to the next destination, and while I was with my husband it felt safe enough, but I wouldn’t stay alone there.

“Excellent experience”

This traditional Bahamian hotel is a delight, offering amazing views. Our ocean room suite was excellent, featuring a huge day bed, and the deck overlooking the sea was perfect for lounging in the sun. Breakfast was good, with on‑tap coffee and tea. I recommend the Indian restaurant; the food was truly excellent. The staff were helpful and informative, and I would stay again.

“Overall it was great”

The hotel looks picture perfect, but the dinner menu only offers Indian food, which was disappointing; I expected more traditional Bahamian fare, or at least fish, meat, or a burger. Breakfast was poor, and the showerhead didn’t work well.

We climbed an incredible staircase, but the reception was bad and the staff were cold, which made us leave the hotel a day early. The Indian cuisine was terrible and definitely not worth it. The staff, price, and cleanliness were all lacking.

“Should have been half the price”

The sea view and proximity to the airport are positives, but the place is very overpriced, tired, and shoddy even by Bahamian and Caribbean standards. I left early the next morning before breakfast; I was told fruit would be left for us, but nothing was left.
