The space was large with a comfortable bed, and the location in town was convenient. There were no staff on the property, which seems to be a common cost‑saving measure.

“Eh”

The spot’s location is fine and the staff got back to me fast. But the place really needs a deep clean—spider webs on the walls, dirty baseboards, stained tubs, ripped towels, and a weird smell. If the updates were finished it could be cute. The AC unit under the window was stuffed with toilet paper and I couldn’t adjust it. Overall the unit was just dirty, full of dirt and dust.

The location is close to everything, though the path is busy. The downside is that the pool hasn’t been opened in years.

The location was great, and we had plenty of space so we didn’t feel cramped.

“Could have been a good stay if the property was better cared for”

The spot was well‑located and having a kitchen was a plus, the bed was comfy, and the layout worked. Still, I found a cockroach in the kitchen and the cabin next to us also had one and left two days early. No staff were on site to deal with it. Dog poop surrounded our outside picnic area and trash was piled up around the dumpster. Insects and critters could get in through open gaps around the air conditioners, and weeds were overgrown behind the unit. We stayed Monday‑Saturday and the dumpster was already overflowing when we arrived. I texted the contact number to document everything and was told staff would clear the dog poop, but they didn’t. After I cleaned up eight of them myself, I quit. Orkin was sent to our room without warning and they came while we were having dinner. I was told trash pickup was Thursday or Friday but it never happened. I was also told “the dumpster isn’t even visible from your unit.” That wasn’t the point; I had to bring my trash there every morning and it was gross and smelled terrible in the heat. Open trash attracts vermin! Orkin was sent to powder our room without prior notice and they arrived during dinner, forcing us to leave. I was also told “We are at full capacity this week and no one else has complained.” My pictures prove I was telling the truth, and I’m sad I could only share four because I have many more. They offered to refund us for the last two days if we left, but there were no other places with a kitchen setup and we’d already bought groceries. We also had prepaid event reservations that we couldn’t change, so we were stuck.
