The charm of the Hanok is that when you come here you’re meant to experience a suspended moment in time and spend a night on a yo.

The location and the chance to see traditional Hanoks are nice, and the couple who run the place is charming; however, sleeping on a thin futon on the floor is impossible for someone who sleeps on the side, the room is noisy—when the fridge starts, a beast-like sound comes from the wall, a cat yowls a lot at night in the courtyard, and you can hear what happens in the neighboring room; the shower is in the toilet within a tiny space; we were given two small towels that are not enough for hair; the breakfast caters to local tastes and not European ones (only the fruit saved the meal); and it was very cold the last night, we were frozen.

The hosts were genuinely friendly and helpful, the spot was right in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village so getting around was easy, and the breakfast was really good, but everything was perfect.

The breakfast was prepared with a variety of fruits and rice cakes, so I ate well and packed the leftovers; the staff were very friendly, making the trip feel good.

The hosts were very friendly and tried hard to give a warm welcome and a proper goodbye. They offered good food suggestions and explained what you could visit. The location is very central in the Hanok village, and this was a Hanok stay with breakfast! Nothing else! Go there with high expectations. The rooms are simple, small, with a basic bathroom. If you can’t stand that, don’t go.
