“Angenehmes Stadthotel”
The staff were very friendly and the location is good. The room and bathroom were spacious. I could safely park my bike in the entrance area. The Wi‑Fi was extremely bad and unusable!!!

The hotel did the job for one night. The room was very large and the bathroom even larger, simple but adequately equipped. It was completely clean and on a quiet street. I checked in on a Saturday late in the day, nobody was there, but someone was on the phone and the keys were ready for us. There was no breakfast offered on Sunday morning, but a bakery is 50 m away. The city centre is 10 min on foot. Public parking is immediately nearby, free or paid depending on the street.

The location, setting, large room and bathroom, and especially the warm and available welcome from the owner were positives. The temperature was far too high. The fan provided could only lessen the almost tropical night heat enough to be bearable.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant served delicious food. The room and bathroom were a good size. The bed was comfortable and a fan was provided because it was extremely hot. Street parking outside the hotel is free.

The room was large and clean. It isn’t a hotel in the usual sense, but rooms above a restaurant. It lacks character and feels impersonal. There is no air conditioning – not advertised, but other similarly priced places in town do have it, so I would choose a different spot if I were back in St Foy.
