The pension was built by a Romanian architect working in Berlin, in the traditional style of the Danube Delta. It is comfortably furnished, very clean, and decorated with great attention to detail. The owners, together with a friendly team of staff, take care of guests with affection and pamper them with delicious traditional Romanian dishes. My daughter, who is a vegetarian, was also delighted by the special meals prepared for her. In the village there are no shopping options; everything needed—except groceries—must be brought along.

Delta. The lady asks for a handrail when climbing the stairs in the room; walking in a sock feels offensive. She also has some issues with the neighbor: at 6 am she started mowing the grass with a diesel chainsaw for 2 hours. Gross.

The guesthouse is clean, cozy and tastefully decorated, the hosts are wonderful and the traditional fish dishes were delicious. Our host also recommended someone who organizes boat trips in the delta

The place is truly the most breathtaking in the area, combining local architecture with modern touches in a way that photos can’t capture; it looks even more stunning in person. The host was outstanding and the food surpassed Michelin‑star quality, giving the price an incredible value. I love everything, can’t recommend it enough, and will definitely return.
