Located 500 metres from the yellow bridge on Nusa Ceningan Island, Ceningan Resort offers a dive resort with an outdoor pool, restaurant, and PADI 5-star dive centre. Eight thatched roof bungalows feature private terraces, balconies with hammocks, and semi-open bathrooms with hot showers. The restaurant area is a lively spot to mingle with fellow travelers, and the short walk to the dive boat is handy. However, the floor in our room was pretty dirty, the dives themselves were brief, and our dive at Chrystal Bay was cut short by the dive master at 19 minutes—first time experiencing that.

Really great team, comfortable bungalows, and an excellent dive operation, while also doing some good work in conservation and community development in the region. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

I had a great time at this resort, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, who made sure everything ran smoothly. The diving instructors were top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. There are some great restaurants on the island, worth taking a 10-15 minute walk to enjoy a nice dinner. However, I did find the owner to be a bit stiff and focused on making a profit, which was a bit off-putting. Additionally, the food and drinks at the bar were a bit pricey.

Unfortunately, my stay at this resort was marred by some significant issues. The rooms were quite dark and felt more like a bungalow on a campsite than a hotel room. The outdoor bathroom was outdated and didn't match the photos. To make matters worse, the rooms were extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep when other guests went diving and the resort started getting busy as early as 7 am.
