How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The staff were very nice, and even though we booked last minute we were welcomed quickly. The street is quiet and the garden is lovely; the mosquito net was the best we've used. The bed was extremely comfortable and the ceiling fan worked perfectly. We were able to check out a bit later to shower after a climb up the Pidurangala rock, which was a highlight. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work, but that was fine for a real disconnect.

The room was sparkling clean, which was a big plus for me. The host was super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. It's a shame that the location wasn't ideal, as the noise from the street could be a bit much at times.

This place is a hidden gem, with a beautiful setting and a family that's incredibly warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make me feel at ease, and the location is perfect for exploring Sigiriya - it's literally just a stone's throw away. If you're planning a trip to Sigiriya, this is definitely the place to stay.

I was blown away by the kindness of the guy running this place - he was super helpful and even offered us a coconut to enjoy. The location is great, and it's a great spot to meet other travelers. The only thing that would've made it perfect is if they had a few more amenities on offer.
