Very quiet and beautiful countryside location. Great base for trips to Durham and Beamish Museum. Lovely lodge, everything we needed was there! Loved the hot tub and wood fire. Really appreciated the welcome pack. A little bit isolated.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were very pleasant, showed me around, and were helpful, and the lodge itself is gorgeous—definitely worth visiting multiple times. I couldn’t find any fault.
