The hotel is situated in an excellent location, and its facilities and services are of a great standard. The only drawback is that parking requires a separate fee for the city, and the price is fairly high.

La Fresca, in Kromeriz's centre, boasts Secession-style interiors and free Wi-Fi. The hotel, a filming location for Amadeus, features spacious, individually decorated rooms with original furniture, ergonomic mattresses, and disabled access. Guests enjoy palace and St Maurice's Church views. The UNESCO-listed Archbishop's Palace and Gardens are 200 metres away, with Kromeriz Train Station a 10-minute walk.

The location is fine, but there were many shortcomings: the bathroom lacked soap, the shampoo wasn’t refilled, the shower drain was clogged, the desk lamp didn’t work, dust on the furniture, damaged wall stickers (optical effect), the morning coffee was weak, the cold cuts selection was poor, and there were crumbs on the table and chairs in the dining area. If the hotel wants to keep guests, it must seriously improve.

The service was fantastic, staff were helpful and had a great attitude. Breakfast was excellent and the room was clean. Overall, a hassle‑free stay in the centre of Kroměříž.

I stayed right next to the historic city center, which made exploring the old town a breeze.

The room on the square came with a secure locker, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—fresh pastries and plenty of everything else. The only downside was the 6:15 am alarm, which was suddenly interrupted by a loud kitchen fan right beside our open window in the unrefined inner block.
