Everything was generally well equipped, though there were only two hangers for a very large wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable. We had air conditioning so we stayed cool. The stay depended a lot on the other tenants because it’s shared; in our case the overall noise was fine. We only stayed two nights. The service and information were terrible. When we arrived, the room smelled strongly of tobacco. I talked to the owner about it and, when I asked if there were more hangers and in a rude tone, he said there was no tobacco smell, that it was the air freshener he used… (obviously). The room faced a balcony that was shared with the kitchen everyone used, which happened to have two chairs, a table, and a cigarette case. Of course, when we arrived the room was open and so was the balcony. We had to close it when we left so that no one could get in. All of this could have been avoided if we had more information before booking. All the food in the kitchen had no traceability or expiry dates; the cabinets were clearly full of expired food. We couldn’t make coffee because there were no capsules and we couldn’t find any in a Verona shop.

The only Positive thing we can say: is the neighbour is kind and helpful! He was so kind and trying to assist us to communicate with our rude host. The host had ignored our prior texts and calls and finally they had a conversation over the phone in italien. She was rude to him and cut him off, leaving us without any idea of what to do. The neighbour said that other guests in the past had experienced simmilar issue. Warning - Avoid this accommodation. We didnt like how rude the host of pura vida was to us. And altimately we didnt even checked in, we were simply trying to communicate with her prior to check in, if we could leave our Luggage for a couple of hours while we returned the car back to the rental company. We had to find another accommodation in the end because she proceeded to write all sorts of ridiculous texts via the "B.com App" she used threatening and rude English, which we will not tolerate. And now, trying to get a refund, as she didn't want to host us, dealing with , she just ignores them too, we have everything in writing so we will definitely persist with this claim. And it's not even close to the train station as claimed on her ad, that was the only reason we needed to stay there, ironically that's where we delivered the car back and it takes about 10 to 15 by car. The reason the woman was so rude is simply because the house has 3 door bells and we apparently pressed the wrong one because there is nowhere that it says "Guest House Pure Vida" so we just guessed and got a neighbour 🤷. The issue is, she doesn't live there at all, not even in Verona and tries to do everything as "contactless" set up. She gets angry when it doesn't go how she wants it. Perhaps she should run a more professional operation and actually have some involvement. No wonder her neighbours are getting tired of it!! What a waste of time this place was, it will ruin your holiday, just stay away from this one!!

The place was bigger than the photos showed, very clean and tidy. The neighbourhood didn’t feel very safe, the wifi didn’t work with the given password, the host didn’t reply, and parking meant street parking if available. After returning at night, finding a simple parking spot was impossible. Parking is therefore not guaranteed.

The accommodation was in good condition and clean. Communication from the host was poor; she sent information only half an hour before check‑in and seemed reluctant to clarify questions.
