Love the room, we rented a room for a couple and all that we needed was provided. The bathroom too is exceptional. Considering the price it was one of the best hosts we've ever been to

Our beautiful host made our stay warm and welcoming from the front door. The facility was 5star, absolute pleasure meeting Sue and seeing her beautiful art work. Thank you for allowing us to stay. I would highly recommend Sue and her property. All the best!. Nothing! Stay, location, host, property - all fantastic!

Unfortunately, this was my first negative experience with a host in New Zealand. I called the owner around the 2pm check-in time to ask when I could check in. She said she would be back in about 30 minutes, so I asked her to call me when she returned so I could make other plans instead of waiting outside the property. After about two hours, I called again and was told that she was already home but had been too busy to call me back and let me know. The way the situation was handled and her attitude felt disrespectful and made me feel unwelcome. I offered to cancel the booking by mutual agreement to avoid further issues, but she declined. Poor communication. I reported the situation to , who fortunately compensated me with a voucher. In the end, it was disappointing experience that left me feeling unwelcome and ultimately made me choose to sleep in my car despite having paid for the accommodation
Warm clean and comfortable room, quiet street. Its not really clear when booking this isn't self contained, its more like being a flatmate for the night. its a very small room and no cooking facilities so only really good for a one lighter
