Excellent home‑cooked food in the restaurant, very reasonable prices, wonderful hosts, we had a great time.

The atmosphere and warm welcome were top. The pool was disappointing; the indoor pool seemed unheated and was downright cold at 12 °C, and the showers near the pool only had cold water. Maintenance pipes (air treatment, etc.) were neatly painted, but the constant high humidity from the pool caused the paint to peel downward, leaving the floor and jacuzzi in a mess.

Das Kastel wurde liebevoll aus einer Ruine wieder aufgebaut. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer möchte, bekommt Infos zur Geschichte. Das Restaurant und die Produkte aus eigener Herstellung sind großartig. Das WLAN im Zimmer war gut, sodass wir auch von dort aus arbeiten konnten
The staff were super‑super, treating us like family rather than guests. The apartments, especially the one for four, were huge, and everything was spotless—from the room to the kitchenette and bathroom. The place was extremely quiet, so we enjoyed silent mornings and evenings. The restaurant was perfect, from the starters to the wine, and they mostly used farm products. The only downside was mosquitoes; you can’t sleep with the windows open.
