“A last post gem”
Steve was incredibly welcoming, handled everything with ease, even cooked my eggs just the way I like them and offered a wide range of cereals, jams, drinks, and a friendly greeting. The room was very accommodating, comfy, spotless, with a mini fridge that was brilliant and plenty of warm drinks even after four nights. We chose to walk into the shopping hub and take the tram near Manchester pub up the street. We’d definitely stay again.

Steve, the owner, was absolutely brilliant—polite, humorous, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He even suggested various spots for us to visit. We loved it so much that we rebooked for Christmas. Breakfast was delicious, and he offered extra tea, coffee, and toast. The only downside was that I was on the top floor (three flights up) and have mobility issues, so climbing the stairs was a challenge.
Everything about our stay was enjoyable. The hotel was clean, breakfast was lovely, the owner was friendly, and the location was great for shops and the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Steve was very helpful and friendly, made us feel at home right away and served a great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, the walk‑in shower was spacious, and the little extras like fresh milk, bottled water, and a good selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and Horlicks sachets were appreciated. He even stopped by the shop for a non‑dairy spread for my vegetarian sister and called a taxi to take us to our great niece and her fiancé’s wedding venue. The room had a hair dryer, makeup mirror, iron and ironing board, comfy chairs, a coffee table, and a comfortable bed that gave us a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was a bit cramped, with the hand basin and toilet close to the shower, but it was still easy to dry off and get dressed in the main room without much difficulty.
