The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve had across South Africa. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were amazingly kind. I would definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dear Queen Victoria Hotel by Newmark Team, Thank you for your hospitality during my stay. I would like to share some honest feedback in the hope that it will help improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, I felt that the level of cleanliness did not meet the standards expected from a luxury hotel. I kindly ask that more attention be given to housekeeping and the overall cleanliness of the property. In addition, I believe the hotel would greatly benefit from further renovation and modernization, as some areas appear outdated and could be improved to better reflect the quality guests expect. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as I believe these improvements would make a significant difference for future guests. Thank you for your time

The location near the V&A waterfront is great, and the service is excellent, yet we ended up touring the “factory” instead of the diamond museum, plus there was a heavy sales pitch.

The hotel is centrally located, yet it feels tucked away from the noise and crowds, making it a gorgeous, clean, and cozy spot with outstanding staff service.
