“Perfect”
We stayed with Ahmed and it was a fantastic experience; the pizza we had for dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very good. I definitely want to return!

Abdul and Ahmed are the heart and soul of this place, living on the premises and making you feel like part of the family; they speak good English, French, and Spanish and will do anything to accommodate you. The décor is a traditional Berber desert residence, offering a genuine experience that surpasses other kitschy options that merely mimic tradition. It’s tranquil, comfortable, and equipped with all modern amenities. If you travel by bike or motorcycle, you can park inside what looks like a big event room with access from both outside and inside the house—though if a sandstorm hits (as it did during my stay) it can affect your vehicle. Abdul’s sister cooks phenomenal food; I’m not a big fan of tajine, but this one and the accompanying traditional salad are to die for, and there’s plenty. Breakfast is simple—bread, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, jams, coffee, tea—but you can request what you want and when it’s served. The location is 8 km south of Merzouga in a remote village, away from tourist‑crazy resorts but close to the dunes and immersed in local tradition. I didn’t do any touristy activities because I had them all long ago on a different trip; I was there for the quiet and got plenty of that. Thank you, guys! Do I recommend it? Oh, yes! The only areas that could improve are that there’s limited space to hang or store clothes, the illumination inside the room is very dim, and the A/C is kind of noisy.

It’s a very beautiful B&B with incredibly hospitable owners who make you feel like friends; at night there was a fantastic drum concert, the best music we’ve heard in Morocco. Thank you.
