Located in the heart of Waikiki, the Kuhio Banyan Hotel offers 5-minute walks to Waikiki Beach and world-class dining and shopping along Kuhio Avenue and Kalakaua Avenue. Each air-conditioned room features a kitchenette, seating area with cable TV, sofa bed, and tea and coffee-making facilities. On-site amenities include a launderette, ice machine, and vending machines, as well as beach towels and umbrellas.

How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is excellent near the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped and supplies everything you need for a beach day (chairs, umbrellas, boards…). The reception staff are very pleasant. The room itself is not comfortable at all; the beds are uncomfortable and the worst part is that below the hotel there’s a nightclub that plays music until the early morning, causing the whole room to vibrate and making it hard to rest.

I was blown away by how central the place is, but it was already a bit worn out and situated on a noisy corner of Waikīkī.

The hotel’s location was solid, though the building itself was quite old and the surrounding area noisy; I had to keep asking for fresh towels each day, and there was no room service or daily housekeeping, while most staff seemed unfriendly. Still, the rooms were a good size and the price was reasonable.
