“Spacious room, but cold pool, misleading photos and dismissive service.”

The room was roomy and the spot was convenient, with construction nearby staying quiet during our visit. Getting into the rooms required a few flights of stairs, which some people complain about, but that’s just Santorini—bring sturdy shoes. I booked a private‑pool room and asked about the temperature; the staff promised it would be right. Two weeks before arrival I saw many reviews saying the pools were cold, so I called again. They insisted the pools were kept at 26 °C, and both the woman I spoke to and the manager were rude, dismissive, and wouldn’t adjust it. In September 26 °C feels chilly, and if we’d known we’d have avoided paying extra for a pool room. The biggest issue came on arrival: the room didn’t match the photos. The outdoor shots combine terraces from several rooms and present them as one, yet the terrace is actually shared. That was genuinely misleading, and the room looks straight onto the construction site. I expected more transparency and courtesy at this price.
