Nothing positive. The experience at Hotel Regency was very disappointing. We had booked the hotel, yet the booking page offered no clear notice that unmarried couples were not allowed to check in. Upon arrival we were denied check‑in because of that policy and were asked to pay an extra fee if we wanted to stay. If the hotel has such a restriction, it must be clearly stated on the booking platform before guests reserve and pay. Asking for additional money at check‑in after the booking is already made feels extremely unfair and misleading. I strongly recommend the hotel clearly communicate these restrictions upfront so customers can decide before booking and traveling.
The staff were good and the service was fantastic.
The property was clean, located near the railway station, and the reception staff upgraded my room for free, making it very comfortable.
