The place is in a prime spot, just a 10‑minute drive to the lake shore. David and his family are very kind, pleasant, and helpful—there’s nothing better. They offered plenty of great suggestions for sights and restaurants during our stay. The lake view is magnificent, and breakfast is hearty with fresh produce and homemade cakes.

The view of Lake Como is lovely, and we shared breakfast with other residents. The host (the owner) is kind and gave us useful advice on good places to eat, especially the restaurant Le Batia.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Balcone Fiorito. David and Eleanor were truly exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and always ready to make our visit comfortable. The house itself is cozy and welcoming, making it easy to unwind. The view is simply breathtaking, and we found ourselves pausing every day just to take it in. We’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

The owners, who speak English, were very friendly and gave us solid tips on great day trips and restaurants. The place feels family‑friendly and cozy, with a large apartment that’s clean and tidy. The big terrace offers a view over the lake, and breakfast includes homemade baked goods. I strongly recommend it.
