The restaurant waiter was very unfriendly, looked at my husband in a bad way from head to toe before entering the hotel, and we even had to tell him we were staying there, as if he were sneaking into the premises. We don’t understand how someone in a public role treats guests like that; we would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to avoid a bad experience like ours.

“What a view - what a stay!”

What an amazing hotel – we stayed there for a night to visit Corvyn Castle and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are big, comfortable, and offer an amazing view of the castle just across the road. Check‑in was fantastic and they even adjusted the room temperature for us! The spa isn’t large but is nice, clear, and perfect for a quick soak. This is definitely worth a stop and highly recommended. Everything was great – the only disappointment was the restaurant service (they have one onsite and one 3 minutes away). We ate dinner and lunch at the onsite one, and while breakfast service was amazing, the evening and especially lunch service was not up to the standard of a hotel of that calibre – though the food was excellent, so the complaint is on a high level.

“We loved our stay.”

The hotel is right across the street from Corvin Castle, which is why I booked here. We loved seeing it during the day and also lit at night even from our room. The restaurant was very nice and breakfast was provided. Parking was easy.

A breakfast that was both plentiful and varied, everything was superb. I still have no idea about the negative part.
