The staff were very nice and accommodating, showing real effort – the food was great, traditional Japanese meals. The location is very close to Kumanoyu and Yotokeyama ski lift. The facility is outdated and in bad shape. Rooms and shared spaces aren't clean, and the room lacked basic amenities such as soap.

No soap or shampoo in the ensuite bathroom – how can I shower? The cleaner said I have to get them from the onsen. What??

I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the hotel was, and the food was also quite good. However, the room was not thoroughly cleaned, and the outdated equipment was a bit of a letdown.
