The finca felt like paradise on earth. Beautifully located with a nice view of the mountains. Our host Hector was a super kind and attentive man. He gave us a tour of his estate and could tell us a lot about the flora and fauna. We really enjoyed our stay! The finca has a heated natural pool with water from its own waterfall, and we lounged there wonderfully. Hector had a good tip for a nearby restaurant; the Amalia Hotel restaurant is highly recommended. The breakfast was also well prepared. The room was neat and fresh. In short, a 10+ for Don Hector’s finca! We can’t think of anything negative.

The place is very pretty and quiet, and the room and bed were comfortable and clean. However, the host reached out two days before the reservation to request a 50% advance payment. Although Booking had required this payment, we contacted the host to confirm and express our unease about having to pay outside the platform, and his service was terrible. He told us that if we felt unsafe we could cancel the reservation or that he would cancel it, instead of reassuring us and explaining the process politely; he also said he felt uncomfortable with our questions and that if we didn’t like it we should cancel. At that point we had no option to change accommodations, otherwise we would have canceled the reservation.
