The front‑desk team was friendly and the room was immaculate, but the street was noisy and I couldn’t open the balcony door because the downstairs smokers filled the air with cigarette scent while people sat on the outside chairs. The staff moved furniture late at night, putting it away after hours. The pool was icy, as expected for this time of year when there’s no sun, and none of these issues were the staff’s fault; they were flawless.

The staff were kind and tried to salvage a terrible atmosphere. The neighbors made a lot of noise that nobody seemed to care about, and the place was just awful. Turning on the air‑conditioning felt like the Germans were back in the room.

The staff greeted me warmly at the reception upon arrival, and I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a larger room. Even though I left early at 4:30 am and the breakfast restaurant was closed, the receptionist kindly prepared a breakfast with whatever was available. Thank you to the front‑desk and for the chance to watch the sunrise from the balcony, and for the little welcome gesture in the room! The room’s cleanliness left something to be desired, with a lot of sand despite daily cleaning, and many invisible stains on the linens that only show when lit.
