The location is beautiful, the place was spotless, and the host left fresh bread at our door and stocked the fridge with plenty of breakfast items. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities. The room lighting could be better – it felt a bit dim – and a vertical mirror somewhere in the house would have been nice.

It was surrounded by nature, but if you’re not in the main house, reaching shared facilities is difficult and limited, the Wi‑Fi is weak, car access is complicated, it’s pricey for what it really is, the photos overstate its merits, and the staff interaction was sparse and unsatisfying.

The apartment was exceptional and also has a room downstairs with a billiard table. The kitchen lacks lighting, but it’s still fine.
