The place sits nicely on the outskirts of town in a very quiet spot, offering a lovely view of the lake. If you have a bike, you can quickly reach the charming historic old town. The owner and staff are very friendly, the breakfast is good, and the value for money is excellent.

The location is near the lake shore and the bus service is convenient. The breakfast was limited, the fridge door wouldn’t stay shut, there were no drink‑making facilities in the room, and the hill up to the hotel was a struggle.

The hotel is very close to the beach where you can swim. It’s a 20 minute walk along the lakeside into the old town. We paid for breakfasts which were very good. The staff were very helpful. The room was quite small. We had one with a balcony and view of the lake. The room was above the front entrance where smokers went to smoke so we often had cigarette smoke wafting into our room
