The breakfast was DIY, with everything the owners supplied; the cottage was very well appointed, offering every possible convenience for a short break, and the hosts were helpful and welcoming. However, there was a small mix‑up with the checkout time: the host said 10.30, but I was told it was 10am, so that confusion needs to be sorted out for future guests.

The accommodation was superb, beautifully furnished, spacious for two, and very comfortable—ideal for self‑catering. The only downside was that the breakfast arrangements were a bit vague.

The location was fab, the hosts were lovely, and the place itself was very comfortable. The shower was difficult to turn on, and the water temperature was lukewarm, not always warm, especially in the evening.
