I paid for the hotel for 1300 euros. for some reason, booking did not confirm the hotel reservation, and my money was debited from the bank account. as a result, booking replied to me that it would refund my money now, in 12 days. and so I was left without money and without a hotel
“Buenas experiencia”
The location was great, yet the spa felt too small for the number of guests that can access it, and I think the minimum age should be raised to 16 years to keep children from playing in a space that’s meant for relaxation.

The place is great and the room was fine, nothing to complain about.
It’s a fairly large hotel with decent entertainment, but the price was absurdly high—just like everywhere in Sierra Nevada—especially since the whole lift system and the pools were closed the week we were there because of a storm the previous week; we should have been offered a lower room rate because of that. The spa with its pools was far too noisy to enjoy, and there was no quiet lounge outside the sauna, which made it hard to know where to go when everything was shut down.
“Hotel bien situado, pero vale la pena buscar alternativa...”
The hotel sits in a perfect spot, the breakfast buffet is very extensive and the spa is a nice extra despite being crowded, and the staff are friendly though they don’t give clear information about upgrades. It seems the property is trying to squeeze every possible extra fee, which is disappointing for a Meliá chain hotel: they force you to wear cheap plastic slippers in the spa even though fabric slippers are already in the room, they sell those plastic ones for €4, they forbid taking a sandwich from the huge breakfast buffet to the slopes at noon yet charge €12 for a picnic basket, and they price a single room the same as a double. All of this feels cheap, the Wi‑Fi is slow, and overall it gives the impression of a cut‑rate operation.
