I liked the location and the hostess’s hospitality. There’s a parking spot. The room was very small, the furniture was old, the bathroom smelled like sewage, and the door wouldn’t close. I had to prop it open with a chair.

The host came to greet me and walked me to the minibuses. The spot is across from the monastery and close to various food stalls and other attractions. The place is calm. The breakfast was varied and plentiful in a beautiful room. Everything was very good.

The host Ana speaks fluent German and reached out before we arrived to give us instructions, then checked in on us several times during our stay to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was served in a luxurious room with a stunning spread. The Guest House is in the old town right across from the Swetizchoweli Cathedral, so there are a lot of tourists, mostly just during the day. As a fruit lover, I appreciated the kaki tree in the garden that I could pick from in early October when the fruit was just starting to ripen. Nothing really negative – our room faced the back of the building and had no view, but from the common area we could see the city wall and part of the cathedral. If you’re driving in, contact the host first, otherwise you’ll hit a locked gate that she can open with a remote, which you can also borrow for excursions.
