The location on the Wasserkuppe is perfect if you want to watch the starry sky like we did; breakfast is plentiful and well‑sorted. The lady who serves breakfast seems a bit unfriendly at first, but it turns out to be a particular kind of friendliness.

It’s a shame that all the venues on the Wasserkuppe close at 5 pm. Hotels should stay open for their guests every evening.

Breakfast was thorough and good; the service seemed a bit hesitant but was okay. Reserved parking; the room, although in a different building, was easily reachable and fine. The location was great. The floor in the room was damaged and covered with a mat. The TV had 1001 channels, including one from Algeria, but no Dutch-language channels at all.

The room 115 was tidy and offered a lovely view; looking out from the Wasserkuppe loop into the distance feels like a dream. A shower curtain feels outdated, the shower itself is small and tends to wrap around the body. One of the mattresses had very loud spring noises as soon as you moved, and the mattresses aren’t high enough, so the wooden bed frame is unpleasantly felt against your legs when you sit on the edge of the bed.

Die sehr gute Lage, das nette Personal und das gute Frühstück. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Parkplätze direkt neben dem Hotel. Dienstagabend konnte man auf der ganzen Wasserkuppe nirgendwo essen gehen, ich musste ein paar Kilometer mit dem Auto fahren
