How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The hotel was easy to find, and we got a very spacious room with very comfortable beds. The front desk guy was very friendly. It seemed like a ski resort, but we were there in summer and had no issues; everything was immaculate. All was fine.

The price turned out to be cheap. It’s a Chinese‑style hotel, but thanks to Xi Jinping, there were no Chinese guests. No ill intent toward Chinese. From a Japanese perspective, the loudness was a bit unsettling. I was impressed when the tap started flowing. The serious management vibe is appreciated; hiring a Japanese expert could improve it further. The door lock was small and didn’t close firmly, parking lacked night lights, which is a security concern. One side of the exterior wall is still under construction and the renovation is over 70 % finished, with interior paint unfinished. Opening now might not be good for business.

The location next to Yuzawa Kogen was convenient. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. No complaints.
