The location of the extended stay was convenient, but the room was outdated and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly.

I tried calling the property several times to inform them of our late arrival, but received no response; I also reached out to Extended Stay USA and the third‑party booking agent, both of whom couldn’t contact the hotel. When we arrived, the desk staff said all rooms were damaged and sent us to a “sister property” (Executive Inn), which was also in poor condition, forcing us to find another place at 1:30 am. The interior was trash‑filled and communication was nonexistent, so I will never stay at Extended Stay again; I gave it a 1 because there was no lower score.

I did a whole lot of different things, trying to act like a “yiy.”

I slept well on the bed, but the rest of the place was a mess: the room had unpainted sheetrock patches, the couch was half‑open and couldn’t be pushed in, the desk chair was broken, the bathroom sink was filthy and never ran, the shower was hot, the carpet was heavily stained, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken. The kitchen was clean, yet several outlets and lights didn’t work. The AC was fine but the curtains were too long to close, and the smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling. I’d send photos if you’d like. The elevator had debris in the corner that someone had covered with a washcloth that morning. I’ve been traveling since 1982, and this is the worst experience I’ve had except for the Dublin in Dublin, Texas. I want a partial refund and, more importantly, I’d like the facility closed until it can meet at least the code your company expects. Let me know if you want the pics.
