The garden was lovely, and the night porter was very competent, which made up for the colleague’s cold demeanor.

The hotel is comfortable and in a very safe area, with courteous staff, beautiful gardens, and a helpful city guide. The breakfast missed fruit and natural juice, and the dining room should not have a smoking zone.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the area is safe, and the beds are comfortable; I would give it 9 points if it were a 3‑star hotel. However, it’s listed as 5 stars, so I’m forced to lower my expectations. The bathroom urgently needs renovation— the tap is loose, the shower doesn’t work, and there’s no butter at breakfast. A 5‑star property should also have a heated pool cleaned several times a day. I’m asking that the rating be reduced to 3 stars, but the price can stay the same.
