The facilities feel dated and the building has many stairs, so a travel bag is better than a suitcase, especially if you’re lugging heavy luggage. The room itself is traditional tatami style and very spacious, but you must bring your own bedding and some amenities are old. We ran into a problem with the toilet tank, yet the staff responded quickly to fix it. Overall, the hotel could use some renovation, but the service was warm and attentive. It appears that only one staff member runs the hotel, with a single lady handling breakfast. Despite the limited staff, both were friendly, helpful, and responsible.
