“Little slice of paradise”
Lily Pond feels truly magical. It’s tucked away on the edge of a wine farm with a beautiful pond right in front of the lodging. Aside from the chirping birds, the silence is almost deafening. The hosts were very hospitable, giving us extra firewood and some complimentary wine. The fireplace made for a cozy setting on chilly evenings, while the lawn in front was well used on sunny afternoons around the braai. The décor was stunning and had everything you could need. The only downside was that we had to leave! There’s really nothing bad I could say about this place. Everything was exceptional, and we’ll definitely come back for a longer stay and to explore the hiking trails.
