Sítio Monte Alegre

Some places welcome us; others embrace us. This was one of them. I’m grateful to the entire team at Sítio for their warmth, attention, and the gentle care with which I was received. Their hospitality made a real difference and turned the stay into an even more special experience. Sítio invites you to slow down and enjoy the Chapada Diamantina at a relaxed pace. The location is excellent, very close to the Tirolesa and the main waterfalls. There are markets, bistros, pizzerias, and restaurants nearby, plus the center of Ibicoara a few minutes away. A highlight is that the access road was under renovation, but during my trip I found it in great condition, making the arrival very smooth. I’m leaving home with days of rest, nature, good conversations, and the certainty that there are places that make us feel at home. I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to return soon. The location is in a quiet area and the atmosphere is welcoming. Morgana has always been very attentive. Unfortunately, the shower issue wasn’t resolved and I had to take cold showers (it was cold during my stay). Even after switching from the original chalet to another, the problem persisted. I believe it’s a temporary issue, and if it’s permanently fixed, the place will surely receive great reviews from future guests.

“Adoramos e voltaremos, com certeza!”

The place was quiet, absolutely silent, and connected to nature the way we wanted. The staff were very attentive and available. Don Léia’s food was perfect, and Don Val and Morgana were very helpful! We only had one hiccup with a shower that didn’t heat, but it was quickly fixed by Miroca (the owner), who called to offer a solution, with help from Morgana and Celino as well! Something that can happen anywhere and shows how concerned the people were about our satisfaction.

“Surpreendido”

We loved everything! The place is a gorgeous art gallery tucked inside a food forest, easy to get to, and the staff are truly amazing. The food is fantastic, Nea is a star. Jucelino is very friendly and helpful, as is Gustavo. Morgana went above and beyond as a host! Congrats on this project and huge respect for the journey, Miroca!

The team—Néa, Mari, and Mr. Juscelino—were very friendly and attentive. The Monte Alegre chalet bed was excellent, and the vacation home is well equipped. The heating system needs improvement, and the shower maintenance could be better.
