“Schönster Aufenthalt in Bali”
The view was breathtaking, the place was spotless and quiet, and the city is just a 15‑minute walk away. We felt so comfortable that we stayed an extra day. Absolutely recommended.
Very quiet and the jungle view is just amazing! If you want to escape the city chaos but still be close to everything, this is the place! Nita is always there to help and I really appreciate that! Suksuma, Nita!
“Clean and comfortable, with exceptional service, full of smiles.”
Service was full of smiles. Wonderful! I recommend it to everyone.
This was a lovely place, only about a half‑mile from Ubud’s main attractions and a short stroll to Jalan Kajeng and the rice fields. The rooms face the jungle, and the main sound is the river rushing through the canyon below. My wife and I spent two weeks at Sekar Tunjung Guest House and enjoyed every single day. Nita and her family were amazing hosts—always greeting us with a thousand smiles and offering continuous, attentive care without ever being intrusive. We had booked a downstairs room that didn’t get enough shade in the afternoon when we wanted to eat, but Nita immediately offered us a second‑floor room with a balcony. We liked it better and happily switched. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again next time we visit Ubud! The only downside was occasional smoke from open‑burning or incineration by the neighbors.
The private kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, and large refillable water bottle made it easy to cook simple meals. The location is close to Ubud Palace and other tourist spots, as well as a local market. The staff cleaned every day. The jungle setting feels a bit gloomy, but that was part of the charm. The building has two rooms on the first floor and two on the second, with only one wall between neighboring rooms, so there is a little noise.
