The place was perfect for the family—peaceful, beautiful, safe, and full of nature. Nothing was wrong. Any issues we had were simply because we were at the beach; Hotel Viejamar did everything they could to ease them, such as mosquito nets, air‑conditioning, a pool for the heat, and plenty of spots to relax.

The spot is very pretty, close to the beach and surrounded by nature. It’s quiet, ideal for rest and disconnection. Rodrigo and Soraya are very friendly, gave us all the necessary directions, and always helped us; the little dogs are very cute, and the pool was delightful.

The hotel is super, very quiet, right on the beach with direct access. The beach itself is very natural and pleasant for walking or swimming. The hotel feels cozy and pleasant, and the breakfast overlooking the sea with the birds is highly appreciated. The facilities are good and perfect for relaxing: hot water in the shower, mosquito net, hammocks, sofas, kitchen, pool and games… The owner is very friendly and very available. Getting around by bus or by private or shared taxi to Puerto Lopez is very easy. I recommend the location and the hotel 100 %!
