“Grand is putting it lightly!”
Everything about this place is amazing—the baths, the room, the views, the buffet—and there’s nothing to complain about.

Everything was clean and spotless, the rooms were well ventilated, the bathrooms were perfect, and the room felt very local with a great natural vibe.

The rooms were excellent, spotless, and offered wonderful views, with two hot‑spring areas on the roof and on level B2 that were both very comfortable, though the changing rooms at the pool had an unpleasant smell.

The tongs used to serve the Viking BF dishes were awkward; using a spoon or chopsticks for modest portions would have avoided the long line. A heads‑up beforehand that the pool was available would have let me bring my swimsuit. The private open SPA would have been better if it had been the silver spa.

The hotel was very relaxing in a beautiful spot, with the main attraction being the onsen, though the whole building was enjoyable. The style was quite traditional, lacking a gym and laundry services, but knowing what to expect made the stay excellent. We appreciated the onsen, the overall structure, the cleanliness, and the kind, professional staff.
