The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the Maultaschen in broth and Steinpilzravioli. Unfortunately, the beer garden at the restaurant only opened at 5 pm.
“Sollte ich wieder in die Region Ellwangen kommen würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.”
The hotel is centrally located in the district, but outside Ellwangen. It’s about 2.8 km to Ellwangen’s old town. The hotel itself is very quiet, and you could keep the window open without issue. There are plenty of parking spaces around the building. The hotel has a 300‑year tradition and is run by the same family for 12 generations, which is impressive. Thanks to the family for their hospitality over such a long time. No complaints.
I enjoyed a lovely dinner and the room was nice, complete with mosquito netting (though there were hardly any mosquitoes).
The hotel restaurant was top‑class.
