“Très bon rapport qualité/prix!”
The host was incredibly attentive, offering a wide range of activities without being pushy, and the meals we had were excellent.

1. Hospitality and feeling being part of their family. 2. Trying traditional food prapared by the homestay people. 3. Also the way overall tour was arranged, not so hectic yet could cover many things that we wanted to visit

Thilina and his wife were unbelievably kind, helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived; the food was freshly made every day and absolutely delicious. The homestay sits right in the middle of the jungle, giving you the peace of nature while still being very close to tourist attractions. I would definitely come back—thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

I can’t recommend this place. They promised Wi‑Fi, but we only got a signal in the garden, and the shower water was cold. The host was not honest at all, pushing us to do activities and spend a lot of money. After talking to someone originally from Sri Lanka, he told me the prices were unjustified and we were definitely ripped off.

Thilina is a very nice and friendly guy with a good heart. Even though he faced unpredictable challenges—his grandmother died unexpectedly a few days ago and he had to juggle a lot—he still found time to guide us and made our stay as pleasant and interesting as possible. His wife is a great chef; we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. I highly recommend his homestay and his guidance for the nearby sights. His English is very good and he knows a lot about the history and culture of Sigiriya and Pidurangala.
