The property matched the description and photos exactly: remote, clean, and private from the other two units. It was unsurprising but still… in the middle of nowhere. We didn’t hold it against them, knowing this beforehand, yet experiencing it was less than ideal. Relaxing was difficult because there were no amenities, and the drive to town was just long enough to be inconvenient.

This place was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the cloud cover made it a little harder to see the stars, but waking up the following morning to snow falling more than made up for it. Enjoying the snowfall from the outdoor bath was an incredible experience and made the stay even more special. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in New Zealand
