Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Sudbury

The staff were rude, it was very noisy at night so I couldn’t sleep, and kids were running through the hallway in the middle of the night.

The mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom door didn’t close properly, plus the place was noisy from the floor above; it seems to need skilled maintenance staff, which lowers my opinion of this hotel chain.

“Sorry but definitely not impressed”

The hard floors in the room were great, no rugs, awesome. The fridge and microwave were in the room. The pool towels and my room towels had stains, the bathroom tiles were broken, there was no conditioner, the room was so hot at 72 °F with the AC on and the windows wouldn’t open at all… it was around 3 °C outside, yet my room was stuffy and not a suitable temperature for sleeping. I was sweating during check‑in and check‑out, and there was a lot of cigarette smoke from outside pouring in and up in the hallway above from people smoking outside the doors. The hot tub was closed, the hallways were hot, the pillows looked like they’d gone through the washers and were in little balled‑up pieces. I brought my own, glad I did.

“Besides those small things, stay was good”

No amenities were offered by the hotel, but there was a 10 % discount next door. One room had visible stains on the covers, and in another room only one pillow had a small blood stain.
