The spot was spot on, but the taps had way too much pressure – the first time I turned them on everything got drenched.
“Ubicación excelente, pero nada más...”
The place sits right in the heart of the city, and parking is just across the canal, about a 5‑minute walk. However, the facilities and the room were awful, all looking like the 1990s, the bed was super uncomfortable, and we definitely wouldn’t book again – it was a mistake.
“Céntrico”
It was centrally located and everything was within reach, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired: the shower delivered either a weak cold stream or a hot one, never a lukewarm option, and the toilet seat was broken and tilted.
“Óptimo”
The location was solid, breakfast was decent, and the rooms stayed clean.
“Barato y buena ubicación, necesita una reformita.”
The best thing about the hotel is its central location in the tourist heart of Aveiro, letting you walk to every main attraction, and the breakfast is fairly complete—enough for a single night’s stay. However, the building is very old and looks completely neglected; we were placed in a ground‑floor room with four 90 cm beds. It isn’t dirty, just ancient and could use some repairs, and the toilet lid is loose. This type of accommodation in Spain wouldn’t even earn one star.
