The hotel's location was perfect, with stunning views from both the restaurant and our room.
The manager and staff at this lodge were absolutely fantastic, going out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome.
Our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful, and the kitchen, bar, and restaurant were all top-notch.
The diner was also delicious, and the Masai dance performance during dinner was a real highlight.

“One of Our Best Stays in Tanzania – Exceptional Location & Warm Hospitality”
Having stayed in lodges, Airbnbs, and hostels across the world, I can confidently say that this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is perfectly situated near the northern gate of the Serengeti, giving you easy access to the park without needing to stay inside it. More importantly, the location played a key role during the Great Migration. Thanks to this strategic location, we were able to reach the migration at the right time and experience an incredible sight. Central Serengeti is also within a reasonable distance, making this an excellent base for exploring different parts of the region. The rooms were neat, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the food was also excellent. However, the biggest highlight was undoubtedly the staff. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had the best possible experience. A special mention to Frederick, who was exceptionally warm and hospitable and also kindly upgraded our room. Overall, this was a truly memorable stay. The location, comfort, food, and especially the warmth and hospitality of the staff made our entire Tanzania trip even more special. This is definitely one of those places I will always remember and would happily recommend to anyone visiting the Serengeti
“This was my favourite stay on our trip to Tanzania!”
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they were so welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean and the showers were fantastic and warm! The food was delicious and the common area is well set up
“Best place to relax after your safari”
We had a fantastic time at this hotel, with a lovely pool and cute Masai hut that really added to the atmosphere. The diner was also delicious, and the Masai dance performance during dinner was a real highlight. However, the shower let us down a bit - there just wasn't enough water coming out, making it tricky to wash our hair.
“Great location, great service, reasonable price, before or after Serengeti Safari”
The services, food, and view from the restaurant were excellent, and the people were very helpful. When we needed to repair a vehicle and fill up with gas, they directed us to nearby spots. The location is great—close to the Klein gate, a brand‑new petrol station, and an auto mechanic shop. Driving to the facility from the main road was rough; the path had many uneven sections, deep holes, and sharp rocks, so you have to go very slowly and carefully.
“We had a great stay and experience at this property”
The hotel's location was perfect, with stunning views from both the restaurant and our room. The decor was spot on, with a lovely authentic style that really added to the charm. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the rough road leading up to the property, which made for a bumpy ride.
