“Great food at wallaby hotel”
We stayed here for a wedding, and the location was convenient. The bathroom was very small and cramped, and electronic keys failed in 3 of 5 rooms but the staff fixed them; it might be a bit overpriced.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the price was reasonable compared to other motels nearby. The main issue was that the rooms are at the back of the hotel but face the parking lot; a late‑night gaming room in the pub let four young men, clearly intoxicated, party in the parking lot from about 1.45 am for over an hour, making it hard to sleep afterward.

Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable, but the sliding bathroom door needs attention.

The location is cheap and great. The room was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. After a 9‑hour journey, we expected to check in 15‑20 minutes after the kitchen closed. I called ahead to see if we could order before closing and pay over the phone, but they flat‑out refused, claiming they couldn’t accept phone payments even though they already had my card details for the room. When we arrived, the kitchen was still serving meals, and the manager was a little unhelpful when we asked for directions to our room. The room was noisy and rubbish trucks were outside at 6 am, and there was no breakfast restaurant open.

Staff member Chilli, who was the total highlight of the evening. I love it when staff are friendly, in for a laugh, witty, and still professional and efficient. Somehow, she nailed it all. The rooms themselves (we booked 2 for our party) were nicely appointed, clean, spacious, and had all the necessities. The outside noise (they can't help it, with a parking lot around and under the place). So many people with loud cars/bikes leaving after midnight. The rooms themselves are quite noise as well, with very little insulation between them. I brought ear plugs and we turned on the aircon for 'white noise', but we still were woken up many times between 10pm and 2am. Probably "should have known", but it was the only relatively affordable place on our journey south
