Swisstouch Oriental Resort

“FANTASTICO, come sempre!”

This is the second consecutive year we choose Swisstouch Oriental Resort and again we were very satisfied! In my opinion, the value for money is really good: the resort offers an international cuisine that is varied and suitable for guests from many countries. Obviously you can’t expect to eat like in Italy, but you should also be aware of the price you pay, and considering everything, the offer is absolutely adequate. Regarding services and facilities, I have no particular suggestions for improvement: overall everything is satisfactory and the stay was pleasant again. I recommend it to those looking for a seaside holiday with good value for money. I would gladly return! The only small improvement I’d suggest is having fresh beer at the beach bar, especially on hot days.

The international breakfast leaned more toward sweets than savory but offered a wide selection. At the beach the number of sunbeds and umbrellas was insufficient for the tourists; the evening entertainment had music that was too loud and right next to the reception and restaurant; it would be better to create or assign a suitable spot as indicated by the arena theatre signs.

“Gemütliche Schnorchelferien”

The room was spacious, right on the beach, and I could see the sea from my bed. The hotel grounds were very well maintained.

“Mare stupendo e poco altro ma non disprezzabile”

The property, once a top spot a few years back, still feels worthwhile even though it needs upkeep. The staff overall are friendly and helpful, with no issues. The bay deserves a 9, and the beach, despite needing a bit of tidying up with its loungers and umbrellas, offers enough space between them to relax and enjoy. The gardens are well maintained and the price is reasonable; if you find a discounted rate and aren’t overly picky, it’s bearable. The food is repetitive, with the same menu showing only minor tweaks; breakfast is the best part, but if you’re like us and head to dinner around 20:00, the restaurant opens at 19:00 and you won’t see the full menu, especially desserts, which is a big shortfall in my view. Our room’s cleanliness was fine, unlike some friends who stayed with us who were not satisfied, and on the dining tables we can’t help but notice the dirty tablecloths and cutlery that change hands.
