The spot was pleasant with warm, smiling staff and a large room with good bedding. It’s a pity the rooms are so close to the reception; a bit farther away would bring absolute calm. The free instant‑coffee in the room feels cheap for the site’s quality; a proper coffee machine would be better. Breakfast is just a croissant, fruit yogurt, and coffee or tea; an English breakfast or eggs cost extra. The place claims to be exceptional, but these small details lower the overall rating.

The staff were friendly, the accommodation nice, and the location good, with a varied Continental breakfast. The bathroom was on the small side, and a larger sink would have been preferable.

We didn’t find much, but it worked for us because we needed to be close to Sheffield Park; the only downside was the location itself, the breakfast was poor, the beds were too small, and the bathrooms weren’t suitable for larger people.
