We came from the US, liked the central spot near my great‑great‑grandfather’s ancestral village and the fact it was built around the time he might have visited; we rented bikes, rode along the Neisse, past forests and farmlands, had dinner and breakfast, enjoyed wonderful food, and the renovated modern lodging was great. The owner helped point me to historical sites my ancestor might have known, and I didn’t find anything I didn’t like.
